DarkSpace looks like this on my Creative GeForce4/4400/128 with the newest certified (29.42) and beta (30.30) drivers from nVidia.

Specs: Win2k SP2 / SBLive Value / GF4-4400 / 1 gb RAM / AMD 1900+ CPU

 

In my search for answers, I found out that another user has a problem with his GF4 also, in a program called GLExcess, so I tried installing it, and yup, I am having the same problems he is.
It looks like some sort of texture problem. :-/

 

So, I finally got a screen out from Ragnarok Online, and, as you can see, here its pretty clear that the error is only affecting some of the DirectX functions, namely the water.
This leads me to believe that it has something to do with transparency/alpha-blending, but I am only guessing here.
Half the texture looks OK (the blue parts), and again, the weird green stripes, like in the GLExcess demo are dividing the texture into bands
