But it was a homemade one, since no-one has sent me any skins yet (come on, SOMEBODY must have tinkered with it) A VERY small, and pretty useless skin, but I just felt like I have to have at least one skin available for download.
And it should work now .. please be aware that the system will always shutdown, even if you choose to logout or reboot. (This has something to do with how the GUI handles the shutdown proces) Also, please don't touch mouse or keyboard during shutdown, or else there's a possibility that the shutdown will fail.
Unfortunately it seems like some people are still experiencing problems with Win9X and shutdown .. but, as it works sometimes, i'm pretty optimistic about a complete solution soon.
This is a very exciting new release, with 2 major changes. First, the GUI should now handle shutdown on Windows 95/98/ME, so the system doesn't lock up when you try to shutdown the machine, without stopping the ECC Core first Second, the skinning ability has become a LOT more advanced, you can now change the layout and look of the GUI as much as you please, take a look at the skins page for more information about this. If you make a skin you feel should be shared, send me a mail, with the skin attached in a ZIP file, and i'll put it online.

Well, hello, and welcome, i'd like to use this first news post to direct your attention to this forum-thread http://www.ecc2.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=189 Now that I finished the core-functions of the GUI, I can get on with the more advanced features, and I need your feedback on this, so, go and cast a vote in the poll. Please note that GUI skinning is still pretty experimental (read the changelog to learn how), but eventually I will be putting together a gallery of submitted GUIs (if anyone makes one, that is :) |
